Trip to Morocco by Fat Bike. This route takes us through the Moroccan desert right to the gates of the Sahara. It is a 5 days bike trip discovering the home of the nomadic Berbers and the magic of the desert with landscapes and lights always suggestive.

We will sleep in oasis and haimas in the middle of the desert covered by a sea of stars. We will cross the dunes of Erg De Ouzina, border the Erg Chebi by bike and get to know the hospitality and exquisite Moroccan food.
Activity for experienced cyclists and natural adventurers. A good physical level is required but there will be no technical difficulties. The accommodations will be with all the comforts, in rooms of 2, 3 or 4 people, depending on the group. One of the nights will be in Haimas in an oasis in the middle of the desert.

He is an expert in extreme trips with destinations as different as Lapland in winter where he travels every year, Greenland and Alaska by bike and kayak, the Atlas and the Moroccan desert, Mongolia and a long etcetera… Normally you will find him in the bike store Espaibici in Barcelona, specialized in travel bikes among others. David, besides guiding you he will teach you the secrets of Fat Bike bikes.
FAT BIKE BICYCLES
Fat bikes are characterized mainly by having 4 to 5 inch wide tires, which is usually twice the width of a conventional mountain bike. The use of this type of tires at low inflation pressures would be the equivalent of using snowshoes for walking. The more contact surface, the less we sink and the easier it is to move forward.
Duration: 6 days
Reception at the airport and transfer to accommodation, breafing and dinner. Overnight at hotel.
Transfer day, we will cross the Atlas to reach the Erg Chebi, one of the most impressive dunes in Morocco.
We will start the route around the dunes of Erg Chebi heading south. We will stop in Tauz to visit a fossil artisan, and then continue to Ouzina where we will spend the night in a cozy lodge in the middle of nowhere with all the comforts.
We will start pedaling through the sand, visit the Berber textile handicraft in Jdaid and continue to the Bou Rika Oasis where we will spend the night in Haimas.
We have breakfast in the haimas and head to the lost city of Ba Hallou, an abandoned fortification in the middle of the desert. Then we continue to Ramblia, one of the villages farthest from civilization. To reach Ramblia we will test our Fat Bikes and our skills.
We return to Ouzina visiting one of the nomadic families of the area and crossing the Erg of Ouzina and its Great Dune. A day of few kilometers, but the dunes are very demanding and fun!
The longest and most rolling day. We return to Hassilabied, see therock paintings of the desert and again sleep at the foot of Erg Chebi.
We get up early in Hassilaieb to travel to Fez and take the flight back home.
