Group travel during 2022

We start the season in spring with a journey through the Sierras of Andalusia through the provinces of Seville, Malaga and Cadiz. We design 3 itineraries between the provinces of Cadiz and Malaga to know some of the most hidden and spectacular natural bends of these territories.

We begin with what is considered, with all merit, the most beautiful greenway in the state: the Vía Verde de la Sierra, with the Zaframagón Nature Reserve. and the scenic town of Olvera at the end. We pass through the original village of Setenil de las Bodegas, built between steep rocky slopes. We continue towards the touristic Ronda to head towards the highest point of the Sierra de las Nieves Natural Park. The last stages will take us from the Sierra de Grazalema to cross part of the Alcornocales Natural Park. Natural Park of Los Alcornocaleswith privileged views of the Rock of Gibraltar and the mountains of Morocco in the background.

Between May and June we accompanied two groups to the Asturian part of the Camino del Norte . The second one was composed entirely
by a female group that lengthened the route to make two spectacular stages through the
Picos de Europa. The itinerary of the “Camino” circulated entirely along the tracks and coastal paths of
Asturias, visualizing some of the most mythical and beautiful beaches of the north of the peninsula.

During the spring we returned with an endearing mixed group from Euskadi, a regular on our routes, to one of our most classic trips, the tour of Tuscany between the provinces of Florence and Siena. These itineraries run mostly through the famous Tuscan sterratos, epic unpaved cycling trails that follow the Chianti mountains and the winding Crete Senesicrowned by Renaissance villas among lines of cypress trees.

We travel through the vineyards of some of the most famous oenological areas of the Mediterranean. We pass through the small town of Pienza and learn about the Renaissance urban planning of a humanist and utopian Pope. We finish one of the stages in the imposing Montepulciano and visit one of the jewels of the Italian Romanesque: the abbey of Sant’Antimo. It is located in a privileged point of the Val d’Orciaa territory through which we move in the last stages.

In summer it was time for two of our strongest and most adventurous groups. With a group of Catalans we made a crossing of the coast of Euskadi. From the interior of Navarra to Cantabria. This route is part of the Trans Euskal Herria Ibilbideak route. A long MTB route that links the main natural areas of the Basque Country. It has been created through the collective participation of a group of passionate cyclists who invested many months to create one of the most attractive MTB projects in Euskadi. Through their website they keep the route updated and it is constantly modified and enriched.

The part that we did was from the last town of Navarre, Lesaka, to touch the community of Cantabria, traveling closely along the Basque coast. It is a hard route, with many slopes and some sections of steep ramps both uphill and downhill. The reward is spectacular scenery between the sea and the mountains.

In July we program a road route through the Mythical Ports of the Pyrenees. This is an itinerary through the Pyrenean mountain range that we have already done several times with cycling clubs from all over the country. The Mythical Ports of the Pyrenees cycling route invites you to experience a legendary cycling tour and rediscover the giants that crown the Pyrenees. Crossing the western part of the mountain range pedaling through the mythical mountain passes of the Tour de France such as the Peyresourde, the Aspin, the Tourmalet or the Aubisque is a dream that every cyclist wishes to make come true one day. Puertos Míticos del Pirineo en bicicleta combines the epic of the most genuine cycling with the experience of the trip, which becomes a real challenge.

During the fall we returned with a group to the forests of Irati, one of the cycling paradises of our country and we never tire of returning again and again to make it known and enjoy our groups. Doing it in autumn is a special privilege because the multiple ranges of colors that creates the second largest beech forest in Europe, provide unique moments of contemplation. This time we extended the radius of action through the Larrau valleys with a tour to the impressive Holtzarte footbridge, a suspension bridge that crosses the deep gorges of the area. This time we went with a group that repeated the Irati experience that they had done years before with our agency and with the privileged collaboration of the guide, adventurer and writer of several of the most popular cycling guides, Sergio Fernández Tolosa. Sergi accompanies us every year in guiding several of our most consolidated groups.

We finish the season in November with a placid getaway through the medieval villages of the Empordà. Itineraries that capture the essence of this region, next to the sea and with a suggestive interior. A very flat territory where the old villages are arranged maintaining, in many cases, the original medieval urban layout.
